Kent Connected
Kent Connected is a free journey planner that empowers you to make smarter travel choices with your health, time, and the environment in mind. The app makes travel planning easy by showing live bus and train times, offering different route suggestions for walking and cycling and using integrated walking and cycling maps to help ease any worries and get you on your way. The app now features an Ordnance Survey map layer as well as a brand new section featuring Explore Kent walking and cycling routes!
Rail
Travelling by train is a great way to reduce your carbon emissions. This can sometimes be expensive, but there are several schemes to help you save as you travel.
Kids for a Quid
It's easy to have an affordable day out with the kids – buy one valid adult ticket on Southeastern services and take up to four children between the ages of 5-15 with you for £1 each. Under 5's go free. Kids for a Quid tickets can be bought online or from a ticket machine.
Railcards
If you travel frequently, railcards can be a great way to save, and nearly everyone can get one.

Bus
The UK government has introduced a £2 bus fare cap on many services throughout Kent, protecting services and supporting affordable, sustainable travel. Just ask for a single ticket as you get on the bus!
Faversham Community Hopper Bus
The Community Hopper Bus is a community bus service, serving the needs of residents in Faversham and some surrounding rural villages. Bus fares are £2 within the Faversham area, and £3 to and from the rural villages. Buses run on a set timetable.
