Support tree planting

How to get trees:

The Woodland Trust has lots of opportunities for landowners and farmers, including trees, funding and advice.

Packs of tree's and shrubs of varying sizes and purposes, including fruit and nut packs, hedge packs, bee friendly packs, and wild wood packs. The full list can be found here.
If you are looking to plant 500+ trees on at least half a hectare, the Woodland Trust will visit, help design your woodland, create bespoke species mixes and cover up to 75% of the cost through their MOREwoods scheme.
Alternatively, landowners seeking to establish new hedgerows

Free Trees:

The Woodland Trust is also offering free tree packs for schools and communities. For the planting season 2024-2025, applications should be made by August so delivery can be made in November. A variety of different packs can be ordered, including copse packs, hedge packs, urban trees and packs for year round color.
The Branching Out Grant is supporting applications ranging in value from £250 to £2,500 for the planting of native trees across the UK. The grants are available to schools, parishes and town councils, small registered charities, tree warden networks and tenants and residents associations.
The Conservation Volunteers (TVC) have available free tree packs for communities, which include woodland packs, pollinator packs and school fruit tree packs. Further information and the register of interest can be found here.
